Unusual Blogs to Explore

u.b.t.e. digital art copyright 2005 by steven streight Posted by Hello

Have you ever heard the clueless whine, "How could a blog benefit my business? What would I do with a blog? Why do I need to consider having a blog? What would I blog about?"

The following unusual and special interest blogs prove the point: any business can use a blog. Note that these are not all business blogs. I've included blogs on philosophy, science fiction stories, cartoons, ham radio, free expression rights, biology, art, bird watching, etc.

I don't endorse every blog listed, nor do I approve of every aspect of them. Some may even deviate in some ways from usability and blogology guidelines.

These blogs are simply here to serve as examples of adventurous blogging in unexpected terrain. It's my hope that this interesting variety of blogs will inspire you.

Just take a few moments to visit them and see what you think, see how they're using a blog for their specific purposes.

It could be very eye-opening and in some cases (e.g., The Home Depot Bet Blog), rather amusing.

After you've visited a few of these choice, and sometimes bizarre, blogs, drop me a comment or an email:

Soon I'll be posting a list of what I consider "Astonishing Super Blogs".

Great idea to put all these unusual blogs together in one place. I've come across real genius in some of these links which might not have happend if it wasnt for your idea. Heres another interesting site which you might like to link too in your home page: http://jeannormal.blogspot.com or The Paragraph as its titled. Its seems like its only in its infancy but i got an idea that it might grow to something really impressive. Cheers!

Will check it out hi hi.

Thanks for contributing to this blog, that I need to update, the poor thing. No new post in a long, a dreadfully long time.

This list needs to be updated also. Seems so long ago I wrote it.
